How to Prepare your Files for Primo
Did you design your own image for your your sublimated apparel or product? That's great! However, there are certain specifications that need to be followed.
To get your project done quickly with the best result, follow these guidelines to prepare your logo, image, and text for apparel or products.
Usable File Formats for t-shirt printing
Certain file types are required for printing on our equipment. These are called vector files. Vector files are "scalable", meaning they don't lose quality when enlarged. They're ideal for logos, icons and other graphics. Plus they can be easily edited to swap colors, and they have a small file size.
Save your file as one of the following:
.ai (Adobe Illustrator),
.eps (Encapsulated PostScript),
.pdf. .(Portable Document Format)
svg. (Scaslable Vector Graphic)

Fonts
Don't overlook fonts when finishing your design. Within the program you're using, make sure you "convert the font to vector shapes". This essentially turns a font into a graphical element and ensures that your wording will print correctly. If you're using a program like Canva might do this for you.
If you worked with a designer to create your image, ask him or her to save in these file formats. Most will be familiar with these vector formats.
Do NOT place raster images in a vector file type. For example, don't copy and paste a .jpg into an Adobe Illustrator (ai) file. The image won't translate.
